Who we are
Sitently is a missed-call text-back and appointment-scheduling service for businesses, operated by Parnell Products LLC, 2803 Burr Oak Drive, Friendswood, TX 77546. This policy explains what information we collect through Sitently and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Your phone number, when you call a business that uses Sitently, or when you submit it through an opt-in form on this site.
- The content of text message conversations you have with a Sitently number, including details you share about what you're requesting and your appointment preferences.
- Appointment details (date, time, service requested) once a booking is made.
How we use it
We use this information solely to operate the text-messaging and scheduling service on behalf of the business you contacted: replying to missed calls, carrying on the scheduling conversation, booking your appointment on that business's calendar, and sending a reminder ahead of your appointment.
SMS messaging and consent
By calling a business phone number that uses Sitently, by pressing 1 when prompted during an unanswered call, or by opting in through a form on this site, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Sitently on behalf of that business. Message frequency varies based on your conversation and appointments. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for help.
Mobile information and third parties
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with lead generators, data brokers, or any other third party. Your number is used only to operate the messaging and scheduling service for the business you contacted.
Data retention and security
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the service and for reasonable record-keeping, and we take reasonable technical measures to protect it from unauthorized access. Specifically:
- Text conversations and their messages: 12 months after the last message.
- Service activity logs: 12 months.
- Appointment records: 24 months, as business records for the company you contacted.
- Message delivery records: 6 months.
- Opt-out records are kept indefinitely, on purpose. If you reply STOP we have to remember that permanently — deleting the record is what would allow you to be messaged again by mistake.
Your choices
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. To ask a question about your data or this policy, contact us below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
